Privacy policy

When you contact us

Our enquiry form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, project type, and the details you choose to share. Your enquiry is emailed to our team at info@westforge.ca.

We use those details to respond, discuss your project, arrange a home visit, and prepare an estimate. If you decide to work with us, we also use the information needed to plan and carry out the work. Please don’t include payment details, identification documents, or other sensitive information in the form.

Website analytics and advertising measurement

We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our website. This can include pages visited, device and browser information, approximate location, referral sources, and interactions such as a successful enquiry submission.

We use this measurement to improve the website and assess whether our Google Ads lead to enquiries. Our enquiry tracking does not include the name, email address, phone number, or project message you enter in the form.

Google uses cookies and similar identifiers to provide its measurement services. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s privacy policy.

Cookies and browser storage

Analytics cookies help measure visits and activity. The enquiry form also uses a short-lived confirmation flag in your browser’s session storage so the thank-you page can recognise a successful submission. That flag contains a timestamp, not your enquiry details, and is removed when the confirmation page reads it.

You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings and clear stored website data. Google also provides a Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported desktop browsers. These controls may limit measurement; you can still contact us by phone or email.

Service providers and external links

Hostinger provides our website hosting and email services. Google provides analytics and advertising measurement. These services may process technical information or other data outside Canada under their own privacy terms.

Links to Google, Facebook, and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Your information and your choices

You can contact us to ask what information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw permission for future use. We’ll explain how we can respond to your request. Some records related to estimates, completed work, accounting, or legal obligations may need to be retained.

If we update this policy, we’ll post the revised version here and change the date above.
